About Us

HERMARGS VISION FOUNDATION IN TANZANIA (HERVITAN FOUNDATION) is non-profit organization committed for charity services and community development. It recognizes the diversities of Tanzanian communities in terms of economic levels (status) and access to socio services; and the existence of different forms of social disadvantages including Illiteracy, poor health, food insecurity, water scarcity, Gender Based Violence (GBV), Climate Change related risks, environmental destruction, limitation of responsive partnerships and the like forcing the population into extreme poverty.

Objectives

For the purpose of promoting development of knowledge and skills for solutions in communities, the objectives for which this organization is established are:

To mobilize resources, implement and support solution-based education initiatives for improvement of health, alleviation of poverty and sustained development in communities

To enhance employability, peace, prosperity and responsible consumption for the current and future youth generation through responsive education and skills development initiatives

To facilitate and promote cultural exchange, interfaith-in-action (IIA), volunteerism and smart partnership initiatives for responsive education, health improvement and sustained community development

To enhance organizational development, growth, and professionalism in realization of core functions and mandates of HERVITAN Foundation

Partnerships and Collaborations

HERVITAN collaborates with local and international partners, including governmental agencies, other NGOs, and community-based organizations.
 These partnerships help expand the impact of its programs and ensure that they are aligned with the needs of local communities..

Impact

HERVITAN has made significant contributions to improving the lives of many Tanzanians by addressing some of the most pressing social challenges. Their work in education, healthcare, economic development, and environmental sustainability has resulted in tangible improvements in the communities they serve.
